Brazil’s X-Team coach Josuel Distak said this week will be one of celebration for the gym, as two of his prized students, Rafael “Feijão” Cavalcante and Ronaldo “Jacaré” Souza, returned with impressive victories from Saturday’s Strikeforce “Heavy Artillery” in St. Louis, Mo.

“Feijão has shown once again that, in shape, he is between the world's best at this weight and deserves a title shot," said Distak, who cornered the 205-pound fighter with UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva through his first-round knockout of Antwain Britt.

Regarding Jacaré's fight, Distak praised the fighting spirit of opponent Joey Villasenor, who fell to the Brazilian in a clear-cut unanimous decision.

"Jacaré completely dominated all three rounds, but Villasenor is definitely a tough guy,” Distak told Sherdog.com. “Jacaré was superior in striking, took him down a couple of times and did not stop at ground-and-pound, but Joey never gave up. I see Jacare training every day with Feijão, [André] Galvão and Anderson and I know how tough he is. That’s why we have to give all the credit to Villasenor. What a tough guy!"

Distak predicted Saturday’s performances will only be the beginning for his Brazilian squad.

"We will dominate Strikeforce, wining the belts of 84kg (185 pounds) with Jacaré, 93kg (205 pounds) with Feijão and under 77kg (155 pounds) with André Galvão,” promised the coach.
