Andrew McGahon Joins Press Row

Every Wednesday, Administrative Editor Jordan Breen welcomes a member of the mixed martial arts media into “Press Row” on the Sherdog.com blog. This week, Breen is joined by SevereMMA's Andrew McGahon.

To say that UFC 204's main event this Saturday in Manchester between Michael Bisping and Dan Henderson is not your usual UFC title fight. Breen and McGahon discuss the likeability of Henderson and how it's benefitted his career, Bisping's role as a promotional martyr for the UFC over the last decade and why Henderson's cheap shot of Bisping at UFC 100 has become the only “popular” cheap shot in MMA history. The pair also dig into why the UFC 204 headliner could spell retirement for “The Count” as well as Henderson, despite no one expecting Bisping to hang up the gloves.

Breen and McGahon also take a look at all the win-or-lose scenarios coming out of UFC 204, the forthcoming Yoel Romero-Chris Weidman and Luke Rockhold-Ronaldo Souza 2 bouts, why the musical chairs atop the 185-pound division may continue and who will be wearing the middleweight strap come early 2017.

Grab your credential and get a seat in “Press Row.”
