Every Wednesday, Administrative Editor Jordan Breen welcomes a member of the mixed martial arts media into “Press Row” on the Sherdog.com blog. This week, Breen is joined by SevereMMA.com's Andrew McGahon.

Wednesday, the UFC announced that it has extended its relationship with British and Irish broadcast partner BT Sport through the the end of 2018, adding live numbered events and all European and Middle Eastern UFC shows to its BT Sport schedule. Breen and McGahon dig into what the announcement means for the UFC in the United Kingdom and Ireland, why Sky Sports is the partner the UFC wants in Europe and why that deal didn't happen and what the expanded schedule on television means for the future of UFC Fight Pass across the Atlantic.

Breen and McGahon also dig into the cultural differences between British and Irish MMA fans, how the “hard man” and local ticketseller mentality of UK MMA often limits MMA's mainstream appeal and acceptance and how Conor McGregor and Michael Bisping's forthcoming bouts could influence the UFC's plans in Europe.

Grab your credential and get a seat in “Press Row.”
